A comprehensive first visit covering your child's concerns, symptoms, health history, development, and school functioning. When appropriate, we use standardized screening tools — then build an individualized treatment plan with you and your child.
When medication is part of the plan, we closely monitor effectiveness, side effects, and dosing. Prescriptions can be sent electronically to your local pharmacy, and we coordinate with your child's other providers.
Follow-up visits happen from home — no repeated office trips. Visit frequency depends on your child's diagnosis, medication, and progress.

Schedule a Mental Health VisitWe provide medical care from a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner — evaluation, monitoring, and treatment, including medication management when appropriate. We do not provide psychotherapy or counseling.
Many children benefit from both medication management and therapy. If therapy, testing, or a higher level of care is recommended, we'll help coordinate next steps.
Mental and behavioral health visits are provided by Melissa Johnson, CPNP — a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner with 18+ years of experience caring for children and adolescents.
She takes a whole-child approach, considering development, family, school, and medical history — because mental health doesn't exist separately from physical health.
